None of my projects so far could have been realized without open source. I’d like to use this page to mention some of the stuff I’ve been using.
Used for this blog
- Hexo: Blog engine based on NodeJS. Pretty easy to build static pages and blogs based on this.
- Chic: Awesome Hexo theme built by Siricee. Since I’m not great at designing, I adopted this. Chic is licensed by CC-BC-NC-SA. If you’re building an English site, be sure to change the used fonts. Despite changing the font and icon set, I also changed the layout of the pages slightly, added some social logos to profile page and added the listing of recent articles.
- Fontawesome: Great open source icon font. There’s also a premium version available, if you need even more icons.
